Assault on June 12th 2026 against a member of the Diekirch Bar

The National Council for the Judiciary joins the Diekirch Bar Council in condemning in the strongest possible terms acts of violence against lawyers in connection with the practice of their profession and, in particular, the attack carried out on 12 June 2026 against a lawyer, a member of the Diekirch Bar, whilst he was carrying out his judicial duties as a bankruptcy administrator.

It assures the victim of this attack of its full moral support and sends him its best wishes for a speedy recovery.
