Election of new Board members

The Board of the National Council for the judiciary is composed of the president and the two vice-Presidents of the National Council for the judiciary.

At its meeting on 22 April 2025, the National Council for the judiciary elected its new president and two new vice-presidents.

Mr Alain THORN was elected president.

Mr John PETRY and Mr Jean-Jacques ROMMES were elected vice-presidents.

The terms of office of the new members of the Board, which are for two years, will begin on 1 July 2025.

The terms of office of the first members of the Board will end on 30 June 2025.

The National Council for the judiciary would like to thank the outgoing members of the Board for their commitment and wishes the new members every success in their new roles.
